It's come to a time that I might as well tear into my dash....(gasp)......and fix some sh!t that needs fixin'! Replace vent cables, fuel gauge, and wiring. I'm all but going to do one of the Painless kits...still trying to decide on which. I'm thinking just one of the basic units, instead of a factory replacement. I've taken most of that stuff out anyway. Just wondering if anybody had any experience with the Painless kits, or any other...positives and negatives. And, put high price under negatives right off the BAT !! LOL Thanks

Well, I got out of it again...for now! Replaced the headlight switch and the dimmer switch and fixed the problem. HINT: Don't leave the blinkers out and try them...they won't have a GROUND!! Ask me how I know.LOL

Yeah, I put in some small led marker lights for my front blinkers and ran ground wires because trying to ground to the body through the screws SUCKS. I recently saw that Summit Racing is selling their own "Universal" wiring harnesses. Not much less than Painless, but they are less. All the wires are marked for what circuit they are.
