Shortbus and I have tried today to locate four matching 16" steel wheels for my YJ locally, but no luck. I bought a chromed steel set at B&S today for $100. He said bring em back for a full refund if I'm not happy with them for any reason. I want to have a black set on my Jeep by end of next week. I can have them painted at our body shop, no problem there. But to sand blast would cost me $200-$280. I'm sure it'd be worth it, but if anyone knows of any wheels I could get without going through the sandblasting bit, please let me know. I'm willing to pay a couple hundred for a decent set even if I need to sand and prime them myself. I need 16" and the lug pattern is 5x4.5. Lug pattern 5x4.75 will work too. But the wheels will have to have the offset. Thanks guys!

Is the 16s to fit your old mud tires?

Yes. I want those tires on my Jeep. I just bought them less than 2 months ago. Low mileage on them.

I think I found my wheels. Not sure, is that enough offset? Shortbus researched today and found that some ford wheels will work but the center hole might be small and require filing to fit. And the offset problem on some too. tuscaloosa.craigslist.org/pts/3992233259.htmlI'll be in the area tomorrow. The seller is meeting me in the AM. Not budging on his asking price at all. I think he knows how rare they are.

Thanks for the search help guys. I'm gonna check their prices now Tuggle. The ones on Craigslist above aren't a bad price at all, but I might find even nicer wheels at 4wd parts. Good thing about these pacers is all center caps are still there and in decent condition. BTW Tuggle, did Art get that seam fixed up for you?

Yeah I think so too. Body shop manager said if I find a set he would prep, primer, and shoot them for free. Can't beat that. Practically new wheels for $240 ? Hell to tha yes!

I'll check with Larry, the guy who fixed my Toyota front bumper. He'll do it after business hours. I'll call you Monday.
