Riced out. Really? Only the blue one had chrome on it. Maybe you're looking for another word and just didn't find it. If you buy something at a good deal and you don't like something on it, you toss it. Easy enough. What did you find him?

That's green one says muscle shoals area. I wouldn't be surprised if he wheeled at hawks pride and Fulton with it. Could of saw him at one of those places. I found a lot more that were good deals but they weren't suitable for daily drivers.

I tried right away to contact the seller of the 97. I like it best. If I hear back from him I'll add it to my list. Right now, here are potential rides that I'm thinking about looking at this weekend: Kinda rough, but everything I want -- nwga.craigslist.org/cto/4074445153.html
Long drive, but he's sent me plenty of pics and he wants a truck bad as I want a Jeep -- bgky.craigslist.org/cto/4113067882.html
I'm leaning toward the last one. Input on these, from the experienced Jeep owners?

For a DD, the second one seems to be a lil nicer.....the other one may have more "stuff", but it LOOKS rough. I'd go with the second one, and build it like YOU want it.

Found a guy in south MS who wants my truck paying cash. We're meeting at a guys house who has my Jeep. Tomorrow afternoon. After I put the road tires back on my Toyota. I keep my new mud tires for later and get the Jeep I want. Awesome! My first Jeep! Attachments:

The first one from nwga has a lot of stuff already done to it. Even if it looks rough, I think it's a hella deal. For one thing, for regular width axles, you're set there I think.

Thanks! I tried to call him today while I was near Hattiesburg looking at the camo-airbrushed Wrangler. No answer, but I'll keep trying. That is a nice ride.

UPDATE:
I got up early this morning (Saturday) and went to the shop, swapped my almost new street tires to my truck. Headed to Laurel, MS to meet the dude wanting my Toyota. I had told him I'd take $6200 cash but I keep my mud tires/give him the like-new Goodyears. He liked my truck and had cash in my face. He and his brother followed me to Hattiesburg area so I could check this one out. hattiesburg.craigslist.org/cto/4102406024.html - Night before, I got the price down to $6000. So we get there, and the Jeep looked new as I walked up to it. Interior is VERY rough. Under the hood wasn't great either, had several leaks and hoses/tubes plugged off. Cranked it up after 2 bumps on the starter. Sounded fine but had misfire which I noticed getting worse as I waited for the AC to cool. We got in for a test drive. Left turn to back into turning spot, RF shock beat the hell outta the front end. He said "Oh, it has a broken shock." I did ask why this wasn't mentioned before. But went on with the test drive. I drove about 2 miles down a backroad, turned around on a rough spot to test things but couldn't hear anything over the pissed off shock, so we headed back. Before we got back I told him I wanted to test the 4WD. So he suggested we try the field behind his house. Pulled onto the road headed to the side entrance, the engine dies. I tried to crank it but nothing. The owner got out, reached behind passenger seat and grabbed a spare coil. Opened the hood changed it out, still nothing. I suggested we get it off the road. NOT PUSHING IT! he said. He told me let the starter pull it. Funny! So we got it off the road and I thanked him for wasting my day and headed on my way. The guy who wanted my truck had driven an hour 1 way to wait on me, and ended up being a wasted day for him too. Yeah, so that's how my Jeep search started out. But not giving up. I'll find mine!

Apparently he doesn't know what good working "condishion" is.

Apparently he doesn't know what good working "condishion" is. Hahaha! I probably should have taken a hint from that. On my way to look at a 92 with a 304 V8 right now. Has anyone here owned one with the 304? Call me 574-3230 I'm clueless. EDIT: Scratch that. Still searching.

Hate your having a hard time finding one but trying to put two deals together at the exact same time is going to be tough
