The place is called Hawk Pride Mtn Offroad Park (Google it. They have a website.). It's in Tuscumbia, AL. My son and I plan on leaving EARLY Saturday mornin, the 19th, (it's about a 2.5 hr drive), and come back the next day.

I'll have to look on the web at Hawks Pride and funding for a overnighter. I'll get back with you, sounds like a nice trip.

I looked at Hawk Pride on the net. It looks great, but I don't know if my Jeep can handle the terrain? Stock suspension with 31x10.5x15 rims/tires with stock ride height. I would probably scrub my tires to fenders trying to articulate the terrain? i might have to pass on this ride. I might have to start at a less aggressive trail ride?

My jeep has left the land of daily driving, and has lots of trail rash.....but this place has everything from slightly challenging access roads to "holy crap".....

Everyone starts somewhere. Someday i hope to have my jeep as big as Deweys. He is insane on the trails. He likes the hard trails that stand his jeep up. But most trails have a bypass. If you go I will hang with you on the easy stuff and let the big boys play on the hard stuff. There are plenty of beginner trails.

Thanks for understanding, if others are going on the less aggressive trails, I am still interested in going? It's like riding a motorcycle by myself, it's fun,but better with others.

I won't be able to be there till late Saturday night and Sunday but depending on which jeep I bring I'm down for easier trails. Parts don't come for the YJ til Tuesday. So I may bring dads JK instead. Our JK ain't built for rocks.
