Is there anyway to select how long you stay logged in? I have to log in every time I get on on my iPad or laptop. I don't think so. Proboards uses that to keep dead traffic down on the server but will ck on it for you. |

I'm liking the look of the board. Couple of observations though if I may:
1. I've never been crazy about busy backgrounds. The busyness and dark nature makes it kinda hard to read the text that's overlaid on it. Perhaps if the text was white....
2. Looks like there is "Golden Triangle Jeep Club" overlaid on the logo banner at the top but I can't read it for the same reason as in #1.
I'm a function over form guy and anything that gets in the way of usability distracts from the site IMO. You're doing a fine job however, and I am glad someone is stepping up to rebuild this thing. If you need any help, just let me know. I have access to all sorts of webish resources and a few skillz.

Hi Jim Go to your profile. select edit profile then go to setting scroll down and you can change theme. let me know if you like that any better.
ps. I'm always looking for help and idea's to make the board better. please don't hesitate to comment or critique the board. I'm new at building boards and this is the first one I have spent any time on.

Yeah, I was able to change it now. Didn't see that other option before I posted. Guess you just added it. I don't dislike picture/texture backgrounds and color logos and such as long as I can still read the text and navigate around. If you come up with any more themes, let me know, I like to experiment.  -jim |
