The 8.8 install and regearing front to match the 3.55 ratio (change ring and pinion) on the Dana 30 got started Friday morning.

Time for an update on my build....  I added some 35w off-road lights to the windshield hinges, and a hi-lift jack to the hood hinges.  Sold my winch and bought a new one with wireless remote.  So, I've been wheelin' the heck out of it. This was at Choccolocco Mtn near AL/GA state line right after it got new shoes and a few mods. Within the next few weeks it'll get the PS gear box upgrade, new PS pump, this brace (http://www.quadratec.com/products/12590_0521_07.htm) and a few more upgrades as I have time to drive it to my friend's shop in Memphis on weekends. Cool dudes and they've helped a lot. Long drive but seeing the results in wheelin pics MAKES ME PROUD HOW FAR I'VE COME ON MY JEEP BUILD in under 2 years. With the help from several friends of course  My friends in Memphis also installed and tuned a carb I bought online to get me by till I go EFI.... and they'll be putting in an AX15 trans I bought recently, mated to a np231. More to come..... See y'all on the trails! |

I decided its time to add the locker in the front. I had an axle seal leaking and had to open the front diff anyway.   So a fellow YJ'er helped me replace the axle seals, and put the locker and posi-lok cable in.  Oh, and........ this was the best mod I've had done on my Jeep build so far! |
