I just finished up getting rid of all the squeaks and roaring on the front of the engine. I removed the mech fan entirely (required new belt), replaced ac compressor with a bypass pully, replaced the idler pully, and put on a brand new alternator. Back to purring like a kitten....minus the exhaust leak. Thanks for the expert opinion Mark. Next comes the new electric fan.

Finished up my fan install. Forgot to take pictures. But I did take pics of my front diff when I changed the fluid....transfer case looked the same. I thought that it was mud at first, but I think it's actually really thick grease.

Looks like a lil grease got into your H2o.....I'd check the vent hoses.

It doesn't help that the seal is gone around the pinion....and probly axles too. I've got some serious work to do. Takes forever doing just a couple hours per weekend.

Man that's chocolate pudding! I had a little water in my transmission but that was the worst of it. It wasn't bad at all really. Gotta relocate my vent hoses before I go through water that deep again tho. Might change all fluids again before driving it home, just to be sure. Oil needs changed anyway.

Probably did. We were visiting with my parents over that way. It was perfect weather. First time my wife drove with no doors or top.
