Welcome to the club. I have a jku with 33in tires. I have no lift and it is fine for the road. I had to trim the font air dam by about 2 in so they would not rub as the ones I have are really wide. If you were to trail ride I would recommend a leveling kit for the extra inch to two inches. Here is a picture of it. Attachments:

Very nice! I would think you could do a lot more with $7,000 on your own... I like chrome wheels with everything else that's chrome! Some tire shops have a computer that will let you see what a wheel will look like on your jeep before you buy. I agree, and thanks to everyone here today for being so helpful. Off to cook supper.

I don't know anything about trimming??? Would love if you would share info about rims. Did you get them in the Golden Triangle area??? Thanks in advance.

Yes I used a local shop in Columbus. They are gear alloy, back country. Not all wheels will rub. I would buy the size You want and see how the do first.

I just picked some photos off google. If I were doing it, with all that chrome, I would either go all chrome or wheels with mostly chrome with some black accents. Personally I like offroad style rims with artificial or real bead locks in a 15-18 inch rim. But you will just have to get on the web and look at all the sites. There are a ridiculous amount of wheels available. It's all about your taste. Here some that I like for silver. But all chrome looks good too.

Thanks for all of your help and input, I really appreciate it. That is the problem, there is a ridiculous number of wheels out there, and I don't know where to start, o and the price, they are all so costly. If only I had unlimited funds . We are suppose to pick it up Saturday, so I guess I need to get it home first, and go from there.

Discount tire direct is about the cheapest way to go I think. They have pretty good deals on wheels and tires and they'll mount and balance them for you and ship them for free. Then all you do is install them, which is the easy part.
