OK got new hinge bushingsfor the TJ from 4wd parts. drove my old ones out and went to put the new ones in and they were as loose as a two dollar hooker on new years. the hinges are not stretched anyone have a suggestion on were to get bushing. I need them soon so I can have doors to go riding this weekend.

Can you put them on the door side part, then slide em in? Am I pickin up what you're puttin down? Not sure....

No the pins on the door side are fine. it's the bushing on the body side that don't fit. inside diameter is fine. it's the outside diameter were the bushing is supposed to press into the hinge that is loose as a goose.

I know that Lowe's carries several different "drop in" style bushings in plastic or bronze. No idea what all sizes or if any would work for what you need, but at least it's local and you can walk in and size them up "in hand". They are in some of the pull out drawers along where the individual bolts are.

Cool will ck at lunch. that may get me buy. the guys down is Jackson gave me a link to a company that makes the bushing just can't get them here before the weekend.
